Use one footprint twice

Bedroom above, garage and mechanical room below.

Vertical space made the fixed bed earn its keep

Our bed footprint does two jobs: bedroom above and garage plus utilities below. That is why a permanent bed does not automatically mean wasted daytime space. Its height can create a second, highly useful layer.

  • Put fixed mechanical systems where they remain serviceable.
  • Keep frequently used storage reachable.
  • Give rarely used gear a less valuable zone.
  • Preserve ventilation and inspection access.
  • Secure everything for vehicle movement.

Do not pack away serviceability

A perfect packing diagram is not useful if one failed connection requires dismantling the entire bed. Plan how tanks, pumps, heaters, batteries, cables, and fittings can be inspected or removed.
