Under-bed drawers

We designed the cabinet with the bed
We built two large drawers on 18-inch full-extension slides. The cabinet is connected into the surrounding partition and support structure and secured for vehicle movement. Designing the bed, storage, step, and utilities as one vertical area prevented them from becoming four unrelated projects.
Plan loaded drawers
Think about the real stored weight, full extension, retention while driving, service access behind the cabinet, handle clearance, and conflicts with the rear doors or aisle. An empty drawer that fits is only the first test.
