Tank and pump

Demand documented potable material, mounting method and ports. Match pump flow/pressure, self-prime, noise, current and duty to the fixtures; buy the strainer and flexible connectors with it.

Pipe, fittings and valves

Choose one proven compatible system with available tools/spares. Verify potable certification, hot/cold pressure rating, freeze/vibration behavior and service region.

Treatment

Choose from a water-risk assessment, not number of stages. Verify exact certified claims, flow, pressure drop, consumable cost and replacement availability along your route.

Heater and waste

For fuel-fired heaters prioritize listed RV installation and service. For grey/black tanks prioritize venting, cleanout, valve access, cold exposure and legal connections.

Build rule

If you cannot reach it, isolate it, drain it and explain its pressure/temperature or water-quality job, it is not ready to hide behind a wall.
