| PEX expansion | Use approved PEX-A system, rings and expansion tool. |
| PEX crimp/clamp | Use matching tube, fitting, ring/clamp, tool and go/no-go method. |
| Barb + clamp | Match actual hose ID; place correct clamp behind barb ridge. |
| Push-to-connect | Use approved tube type, square cut, full insertion and support. |
| NPT | Tapered thread; approved sealant; avoid over-tightening plastic. |
| NPSM/swivel | Straight thread usually seals with gasket/O-ring, not thread taper. |
| Garden hose thread | Dedicated fill/city-water interface; protect from contamination. |
| Tank spin-weld/grommet | Only when tank maker approves material, location and method. |
