Platform

2022 Ram ProMaster 2500, 159 in wheelbase, high roof. The living area is insulated, but the cab, windshieldand upper-front metal section were the dominant weak points.

Power

EcoFlow Power Kits Gen 1 with two 5 kWh LFP batteries (10 kWh nominal), 750 W fixed roof solar, shore inputand alternator charging around 50 A.

Cooling hardware

A rear-door-mounted 12 V A/C drawing about 65 A while running, three marine fans arranged from rear towardthe front, a roof vent used for ventilation only when A/C is off, external reflective windshield/cab covers, addedreflective treatment at the upper cab and a side awning.

Important limit

The exact A/C cooling capacity and laboratory efficiency were not supplied in our records. This guide uses our measured electrical draw and real temperature experience, not an invented BTU rating.

System rule

Do not judge a cooling upgrade at the vent. Judge it by the hottest occupied zone, humidity, energy usedand whether the system can recover that energy safely.
