Chapter 28

Our final operating playbook

Before peak sun

Park strategically, deploy external cover and awning when safe, close unused openings, start fans and pre-coolbefore the shell/contents heat soak.

A/C mode

Roof exhaust OFF. A/C ON. Three marine fans aimed rear-to-front. Keep the return path open, minimize doorsand track front/rear temperature plus humidity.

Energy mode

Watch actual Wh and generation. Use alternator/shore intentionally, protect battery reserve and reduce cooking/electronics during peak load. Do not assume 750 W solar cancels 800 W A/C.

Exit rule

If any zone rises, power reserve is threatened, alarms/connectivity fail or Chasey shows discomfort, the planchanges immediately: occupy/inspect, move to reliable cooling or leave the climate.

System rule

Do not judge a cooling upgrade at the vent. Judge it by the hottest occupied zone, humidity, energy usedand whether the system can recover that energy safely.

CHAPTER CHECK

• I can explain which heat path this step addresses.• I measured its effect at front, middle and rear - not only by touch.• I added its power, failure mode, maintenance and safety action to the system plan.
